I may be old and senile, but it certainly seems like the Clinton economy was being turned around to the benifet of the little people until Madame “Tuna Queen” Pelosi was thrust into the headlights. Within hours, 48 as i remember it the growth figures started to decline. No doubt it was her acceptance speech promise to tax busines for all teh time they failed to be bled during that two year period.

Dead on… I was saying before the election, vote for real change. That means no DemocRATS and no RepbuliCANNOTS!!! I’d love to see a true conservative party show up. So if there’s fiscal surplusses, debt gets paid back to sustainable levels, there’s no wasteful spending programs created by liberals like BUSH and taxes can go even lower so the private sector can truly innovate great new things for the future of America. The big 3 automakers conspired and plotted the demise of greats like Packard and Studebaker though imports like VW finished off Studebaker.
